Wear ring :

Failure cause of metal wear ring :

2. When the rotating shaft is deformed, the blade is turned off because of the sudden increase in the pump pressure or other abnormal conditions.
3. During the start or stop of the "slow rotation" when the vibration caused by the casing from the rotation axis.
4. In low pressure steam, bubble or in the treatment of low density of liquid.
5. Radial bearings are out of contact with each other, so that the wear ring is in contact with each other.
Other options for metal wear resistant rings :
After understanding the actual cost of the use of metal and composite parts, some manufacturers have turned to graphite / metal alloys and other alternative materials. But the parts of the graphite / metal alloy are too brittle, and the impact resistance, vibration resistance and strong impact resistance are poor.
