SLTC series vacuum auxiliary trailer pump is a special mobile pump station for flood prevention and drainage in an emergency. This is the latest product launched by APK Pump after many series of technical improvements, on the basis of years of emergency flood drainage experience and recommendations from our clients. It has many features. For example, the whole equipment is light; it can take in water rapidly and discharge water in large quantities; it has high head, good maneuvering performance and adaptive capacity to each environment; it is easy to use; you can pull, install or dismantle it easily and quickly; it is digitally controlled and you can start it with one key; its rotation speed, oil temperature, water temperature, oil pressure and overload alarm, etc. are all digitally displayed; it needs no maintenance; it can work to discharge stagnant water on roads in cities 24 hours a day. It is mainly used to drain water in emergency for rescue in areas where electric power is not available. At present, it is the primary tool for flood prevention, flood drainage and drought control.

Mobile pump station adopts high grade diesel engine motor from Sino-German joint venture Weichai and Deutz. Its double suction self-priming centrifugal pump is directly driven by highly elastic marine coupling. This pump has strong suction and discharge capacity. It is equipped with a cleaning device and an independent water drain valve at bottom. Pulled by a full trailer with full speed at 35km/h, the mobile pump station can easily move on macadam pavement, concrete pavement, muddy road and other rugged roads. Both the inlet and outlet are changed into five holes each, the diameter of each hole being DN 200mm. In this way, the inlet and outlet pipes with large diameter can be replaced by more pipes of smaller diameter. What’s more, we have adopted high strength light soft plastic pipes and Bauer connector that can be installed and dismantled quickly. That reduces labor intensity and the number of operators. It needs only two or three people to connect the pipes easily and quickly. It is also equipped with an auxiliary vacuum device that can help to exhaust the air in the pump and the pipes. You don’t have to add water into the pump before it starts. It can send out water within 60 seconds after started. Its engine is covered by yellow engineering rain-proof box. The whole equipment has harmonized structure, with attractive appearance.

Working principle

SLTC series vacuum auxiliary trailer type mobile pump station mainly consists of the trailer, diesel engine, coupling, self-priming pump, inlet valve, gas-liquid separation tube, valve for water addition, rain-proof shield, intelligent digital controller, auxiliary vacuum pump, etc.

Working principle of self-priming pump: this pump has a liquid storage cavity inside; the storage cavity connects with the working cavity of the pump by the reflux hole above and the circulation hole below, forming the external axial mixed reflowing system of the pump. When the pump stops working, it has already stored a certain volume of liquid inside. When it starts again, the liquid stored inside will be cast upward along with air under the effect of impellers. The liquid passes through the gridding on gas-liquid separation tube and flows back to the working cavity, while the air is exhausted out of the pump, creating some degree of vacuum inside the pump, realizing the goal of self-priming. The auxiliary vacuum device equipped with the pump can help the pump to drain water quickly in a short time, making the pump easy and convenient to use.

Design features

  1. Double suction self-priming pump runs stably. Its optimized double suction impellers help to reduce the axial force to the minimum. The blade profiles of the impellers have excellent hydraulic performance. With precision casting, the internal surface of the pump case and the surface of the impellers are very smooth. The pump has outstanding anti-cavitation performance and high efficiency. The pump body is cast from nodular cast iron with higher efficiency, making full use of nodular cast iron’s advantage in saving machining and casting cost. The impellers are made of high quality ZG1Cr13NI9Ti stainless steel. The pump shaft is made of 3Cr13 material. The pump and the pipeline are connected with round flange that conforms to GB/T17241.6 standards.
  2. There is short distance between the two supports at two ends of the pump. The pump shaft is supported by two highly precise rolling bearings. The shaft bearing cavity and the seal cavity are lubricated thin oil. The pump has low noise and little vibration during operation. Its speed can be increased by 15% so as to have a wider application range. We have adopted high quality shaft bearing of renowned brand, ensuring stable operation, low noise and long service life of the pump.
  3. The same rotor is able to run in reverse direction, bring down the risk of water hammer, which could otherwise damage the pump.
  4. The impellers of the pump are designed with double suction flow channels and anti-clogging property, so the pump can discharge 40-60mm solid particles and 50-120mm fibers. The pump has strong through capacity and good wear-resistance performance, etc.
  5. We have adopted excellent hydraulic model to make the efficiency of this pump 2-3% higher than similar pumps, greatly reducing operation cost. The NPSHr has been brought down by 1-3m. According to the site test conducted by a third party, the actual suction head of the pump is higher than 6.5m. It is the pump of best performance among large diameter self-priming pumps in China.
  6. The pump uses high quality hard alloy mechanical seal made in China, which guarantees 8000 hours of operation without leakage.
  7. The pump is available in dry-run, a unique design in China. As this is a self-priming pump, you can start it without filling in water beforehand. Here is the design principle. Inside the cavity of the self-priming pump, a seal jacket is added to each end of the impellers. The mechanical seal is installed in the seal jacket. It separates the water in the jacket from the water in pump cavity. High efficient lubricating oil will be added into the seal jacket to make sure that when the self-priming pump is running, the sealing element is lubricated and cooled sufficiently. The pump can keep running without water for over 120 seconds.
  8. The motor and the pump shaft are connected with a marine tooth ring coupling, which is highly elastic, effectively reduces shock, vibration and noise. This coupling has simple structure, easy to install or dismantle. You can dismantle it in radial direction, no need to remove the equipment at two sides. It has great deviation compensation capacity. It is the preferred brand of connecting device for pump trucks in China.
  9. The pump uses Deutz motor, which is produced by the largest diesel engine enterprise group, Weichai Power Company Limited. This motor is up to National III emission standard. It is environmental-friendly, saves oil and can automatically speed up under high pressure on common rail.
  10. The pump adopts vacuum auxiliary system that can discharge a large amount of gas in a shorter time.
  11. Both the inlet and outlet of the pump truck are designed to be changed from one to five, connected by fast Bauer connector. The water discharge efficiency of the pump truck is highly improved.
  12. With intelligent digital controller, failure alarm and LCD digital display, the operating date of the motor is always under supervision, ensuring safety operation.
