Submersible pumps are used in many applications. Applications for submersible pumps include sewage treatment plants, seawater handling, fire fighting (since it is flame retardant cable), water well and deep well drilling, offshore drilling rigs, artificial lifts, mine dewatering, and irrigation systems.
The purpose is different of single stage pump and multistage pump.Single stage pump series are main used for drainage, sewage pumping, deep well pumping ;general industrial pumping;agricultural irrigation and slurry pumping. They are also popular with pond filters. Multiple stage submersible pumps are install borehole and other place. Such as commercial, municipal and industrial water extraction (abstraction), deep water wells and oil wells.
Special type of submersible pump is required when pump be used for different liquids. Pumps used for corrosive liquids or for water that may be corroded with corrosive liquids. So the pump must be designed corrode resisting.
